Technology used: Photography, Rhino + Grasshopper, Makerbot Replicator

Summer 2013

Initially a photograph of tree texture, this piece consists of 60 3D printed panels with 3 layers of information. Using the Grasshopper plugin for Rhino, the photo was digitally analyzed according to hue, generating a series of cylinders of multiple sizes and heights based on values.
